Punjab CM goes back on promise, appoints 'HalKa incharges', alleges Phillaur MLA

PHILLAUR: Phillaur MLA Baldev Khaira has alleged that despite announcements of Punjab  Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh that “No Halka Incharge” now several Congress MLAs even most of the defeated also are working and behaving like “Halka Incharges” and instructing Civil Servants ie Civil and Police Officials like dictators.

Talking to newsmen at Phillaur on Saturday late evening, he levelled serious allegations of corruption upon defeated Congress Candidate from Phillaur Assembly Constituency Vikramjit Singh and demanded high level enquiry against him. Khaira announced to hold a dharna on November 21 against highhandedness of Congress defeated candidate who is working in frustration but behaving like a winning candidate or Minister. Khaira said that though he is elected representative of Phillaur assembly constituency but Vikramjit could be seen while distributing govt’s grants unconstitutionally. He said he will raise the issue in coming session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
