MOHALI: President, Federation of Self Financed Technical Institutions (FSFTI) and Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA), Dr. Anshu Kataria urged Nitish Kumar’s Govt to review the notification - 15/M 1-57/2016/1462 dated 5th July 2019 stating to give Credit Card Scheme benefits only to NBA/NAAC accredited and NIRF ranked Institutions.

Kataria who is also the Chairman of renowned Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges said that Nitish Govt has set an example by planning to educate 75000 youth of Bihar through the credit card scheme but recent amendments in this scheme will put the future of thousands of aspirants who got registered in other Colleges into trouble.  He said with this the students will not be able to choose the college of their own choice because the Bihar credit card scheme will be applicable only for NBA/NAAC accredited institutions as per the recent notification.

Kataria urged Nitish Kumar Govt that such amendments during the mid of admissions would create hurdles in the implementation of one of the most ambitious plan of Empowering youth of Bihar set by the Bihar Govt.
