One Pak national apprehended with automatic loaded carbine gun

AMRITSAR:  Border Security Force have seized three kilogram heroin (drug)  at Indo-Pak border village Ranian here and in a separate incident one Pak national was apprehended with fully  loaded automatic  carbine gun today.

Confirming the seizure, BSF official said that BSF patrolling party during wee hours observed some suspicious moments at Indo-Pak border village of Ranian and found some people from Pakistan side were coming to India. BSF troops warned them to stop but they didn’t heed towards warning BSF and kept marching towards BSF, sensing danger BSF opened fire in self defence and people   from Pakistan escaped back.

Thereafter, when comprehensive search operation was launched on the same spot BSF troops recovered three kilogram heroin.

In an another incident, at BOP Ramkot falling in Amritsar sector where during routine search one Pakistani national was apprehended along with automatic gun (carbine) made in US loaded with 24 cartridges besides three Pakistan mobiles with sim cards.
