Majithia begins election campaign, will file nomination papers on 12th January

AMRITSAR : Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today started his election campaign here today. He announced that he will file nomination papers for Vidhan Sabha elections on 12th January and gave a call to his supporters to reach on the nomination filing day.

Majitia called people to put a stamp on the overall development works done by SAD-BJP Government where as his opponents have no achievement to present and are just relying on false promises and negative propaganda. He said that outsiders are trying to invade Punjabi as Mugals did but the brave Majhails are fully aware of cheap tactics such people and Majhails are eager to teach Congress and AAP who not just defamed Punjabis as druggists but also indulged in women molestation activities from ticket seekers.

He claimed that AAP has lost ground due to Anti Punjab stand on various issues and now in frustration AAP is trying to disturb peace in the state with cheap tactics. Terming AAP as B team of Congress, Majithia said that people of Punjab will not fall into the false and unrealistic promises of AAP.

Commenting on Navjot Singh Sidhu joining Congress, he said puSidhu joined Congress for his personal gains whereas he has been critcising Congress for Anti Sikh and Anti Punjab policies till date.

Terming Congress election Manifesto a bundle of fake and unrealistic promises, Mr. Majithia said that Congress has just completed a formality of releasing election manifesto as everyone knows the track record of Congress which stopped all welfare schemes and put a complete ban on recruitment of government jobs.
