Christian bodies start hunger strike against Congress MLA’s institution

Peter Cheeda sat on an indefinite hunger strike against the technical institutions belonging to the local MLA Ashwani Sekhri and his brother Inder Sekhri.

The organizations alleged that their institutions have embezzled the scholarship to the students belonging to the backward classes who studying in their institutions.

Peter Cheeda said that their organizations had staged a protest against their institutions and demanded to provide scholarship to the students but they were not paid such scholarship which forced them to start hunger strike against them.

They threatened to convert hunger strike into fast unto death strike if police failed to take legal action against them.
