SAD won’t allow Congress government to end free power facility through

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said it would not allow the Congress government to scrap the free power facility given to farmers for agricultural operations as well as subsidized power facility given to industry, scheduled castes and below poverty line (BPL) beneficiaries through the back door.

The patients, who have completed the oral treatment for three months regularly, have been declared fit after conducting a free test after a gap of three months.

In a statement here, party mp Prem Singh Chandumajra said it appeared the new Congress government was simply trying to buy time to wriggle out of a solemn promise. “The government seems to have thrown up its hands and is now putting its faith in outlandish schemes like masala bonds well knowing the esteem the Congress enjoys amongst the NRI community”.
