Splash of colours at Techno Virsa at Rayat Bahra University

MOHALI: It was a splash of colours as the two-day Techno Virsa 2018, technical and cultural festival, took off to a grand start at the Rayat Bahra University campus today. A large number of students from different colleges are participating in the techno and cultural fiesta.

Rayat Bahra Patiala Campus overall champs in techno fest

ROPAR: Rayat Bahra Patiala Campus were adjudged the best overall performance award at the two-day Annual Convention of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Punjab, Chandigarh, HP and J&K Section, ‘Minerva-2017’ which concluded at the Rayat Bahra Ropar Campus today. This was the 13th edition of the festival which comprises of various technical events, creative competitions and talent-oriented cultural performances.

KAPURTHALA : INNOTECH-2016-a unique program aimed at encouraging innovativeness and creativity amongst the students and teachers of professional colleges was organized jointly by PGSC and IKG PTU at Science City Kapurthala. The Tech Fest also marked the celebration of annual day of Science City. Speaking on the occasion A.K Paul, Vice Chancellor, DAV University Jalandhar said that such competitions provide an opportunity to the students to learn how to apply their existing abilities to new areas, learn many new skills and foster a spirit of scientific inquiry. The initiative to organize the tech fest is indeed commendable and in conformity of what India is gearing up for. The fest will effectively support a new national program designed to transform India into a global manufacturing hub as well.
