Family of Dyal Singh Kolianwali deposit Rs.95.70 Lakh

The strict instructions given by the Co-operation Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa with regard to the big time defaulters of the co-operative banks have start bearing the fruit. After the instructions of the minister the department issued notices to the big time defaulters which has resulted in such defaulters depositing Rs. 5 crore. Out of these, the family of Dyal Singh Kolianwali has deposited the cheques worth Rs. 95.70 lakh.

Punjab Cooperation department issues recovery notice to Badal's protege Kolianwali

CHANDIGARH: The Co-operation Department has swung into action mode after orders by the Co-operation Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to recover loan amounts from the big landlords who owe huge amounts to the co-operative and agricultural development banks. A notice has been issued to the big time defaulter Dyal Singh Kolianwali and his family to deposit the loan amount while the family of Jagdish Raj Sahni has deposited Rs. 20.90 lakh which is 25 percent of the loan amount.
