Punjab Government to run all cooperative sugar mills: Sukhjinder Randhawa

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government would not close any cooperative sugar mill instead all out efforts would be made to run all cooperative sugar mills. This was disclosed here today by the Cooperation Minister, Punjab, Mr. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa during the course of chairing a meeting of the departmental officers and the MLAs regarding the present condition of the cooperative sugar mills of the state and taking futuristic measures in this regard. In the meeting held at Punjab Bhawan, S. Randhawa said that the cooperative sugar mills running in losses would be renovated and transformed & better performance would be derived from them.

The 'Health Food Kiosk' was formally inaugurated at GSFC University campus in Vadodara by the Cooperation Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. The kiosk would make available more than 90 of the products manufactured by Markfed for domestic use.
