Five killed in UP road accident

Five pilgrims headed to Allahabad were killed and seven others injured when their vehicle crashed into a truck stationed on the roadside in Jaunpur early on Saturday, police said.

Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended registration of criminal case against 19 Gazetted Officers, 20 Non-Gazetted Officers, 10 private persons and officers and officials in 22 investigations conducted by it during the month of May 2018. The Bureau has also recommended departmental action against 27 Gazetted officers and 34 Non-Gazetted Officers in another investigation conducted by it.
