Upsets galore in CLTA-AITA CS Tennis

CHANDIGARH: There was an upsets galore in the quarter-final matches in the  CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girs under-12 and 18 being played at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.

Easy for Krishan; hard-fought wins for Bhupender and Shrut

CHANDIGARH: CLTA CHART trainee top seed Krishan Hooda stormed into boys under-18 singles quarterfinal  with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over his opponent Pranay Sharma in the CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament at the Sector 19 Tennis Stadium here today.
Second seed Bhupender Dahiya had a tough time against his peer Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje 6-2, 7-6(3).  Shrut Mohan Nargeta caused a mild upset as he shocked seventh seed  Parveen Kumar 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
