Punjab CM leads the State in paying rich tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh,Rajguru, Sukhdev

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday paid rich tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on Martyrs Day, with a vow to empower the youth and a clarion call to the citizens to join his government’s efforts to wipe out the menace of drugs from the state.

 The stage is all set for the historical event as Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh would formally dedicate the newly constructed Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh Museum and Memorial to the nation at martyr's ancestral village Khatkar Kalan today on the death anniversary of martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. Union Minister of State for Cultural Affairs Dr. Mahesh Sharma would also be present during this dedication ceremony.

Punjab to set up land banks in GMADA

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Cabinet today approved a modification in the Land Pooling Policy-2013 in order to create Land Banks for the proposed Aero City Expansion Project of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), with a minimum of 15% compensation to be given to the land owners.
