Blood Donation Camp organised by CGC Landran

Driven by the noble motive of contributing towards saving precious lives, around 400 volunteers comprising students and faculty donated more than 400 units of blood at a blood donation camp organised by Chandigarh College of Education, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran in association with PGIMER, Chandigarh and Rotary Club, Kharar. The camp was organized to highlight the importance of Blood Donation that helps save thousands of lives.

CGC Landran celebrated Army Day in its campus

Commemorating the glorious legacy of the Indian Army, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran celebrated Army Day in its premises. The event sought to encourage girl students to join the elite Indian Army as also to raise funds to be contributed to Army War widows through Army Wives Welfare Association, Western Command. The students collected and contributed Rs 85,000 towards this cause.

CGC Landran’s team bags two awards at SAE NIS EFFI-CYCLE 2017

Team Synectics from Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran has bagged two awards in the SAE NIS EFFI-CYCLE 2017. Team Synectics comprising eleven students from third and fourth year of mechanical engineering branch won the first prize in two categories. It won a trophy and cash prize of Rs 20,000 for fabricating an outstanding vehicle model at the lowest price range and another trophy for sporting the cleanest pit amongst all participating teams at the event.

IKGPTU Inter-College Volleyball Tournament held at Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus

ROPAR: Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus organized the IKG-PTU Inter-College Volleyball Tournament (Men and Women) under the aegis of Sports Department, IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. A total of 26 teams consisting 18 teams (Men) and 8 teams (Women) from different Institutes spread all over Punjab and affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University participated in this mega tournament.Chandigarh college of engineering won the gold medal in men & women section.
