Punjab Government reject draft Electricity (Amendment ) bill 2018

PATIALA: Punjab Chief Minister has written to Prime Minister rejecting the draft Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2018 as this is a direct attack on the federal structure of the country .This was stated by Brahm Mohindra Health Minister and Balbir Singh Sidhu Animal Husbandry Minister who were addressing general body meeting of PSEB Engineers Association. They said that power is a concurrent subject and centre cannot take unilateral decisions concerning states.
