CHANDIGARH : Avi Shah, Mushrath Anjum and Hrudaya Kaustubh registered hard-fought wins in the girls singles second round matches in the CLTA-AITA Road-to-Wimbledon Tennis Tournament at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today. They prevailed over their respective rivals in three setters.
Avi Shah got the better of Renee Sharma 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 and Mushrath Anjum rallied to prevail over Tanisha Pranjal 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Hrudaya Kaustubh defeated Steisha Buddhala 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
