AIIMS Bathinda gets Rs.5 crore waiver by Punjab local bodies minister

CHANDIGARH: The Local Government Department, Punjab, has decided to waive off the fees and other charges of the upcoming All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) accruing towards the Municipal Corporation(MC), Bathinda. Similarly, the approval has been accorded for the project by giving 6 acres land falling under the Municipal Council, Balachaur at market rates for the construction of judicial courts complex. This was disclosed yesterday by the Local Government Minister, Navjot Singh Sidhu in a press communiqué.
