Annual general provident fund and loan account statements of Haryana govt officials to be given to DDOs

CHANDIGARH : The annual General Provident Fund and loan account statements of Haryana government officials for the year 2011-12 will be given to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) or their representatives in the office of Principal Accountant General (A &E), Haryana from July 3 to 5, 2012.

While stating this here today, Principal Accountant General, Haryana, Mohinder Singh said that the concerned DDOs have already been requested to depute their representatives to receive the statements personally on these days by furnishing compete details of all the General Provident Fund subscribers or loanees working under their control.

He said that the office maintains 2.14 lakh General Provident Fund accounts of state government officials. Out of this, balances relating to 1900 employees of erstwhile Pt. B.D. Sharma, Post Graduate Institute of Medial Sciences, Rohtak absorbed in the Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak have already been transferred on June 11, 2012 to the university, which became an autonomous body in the year 2008.

He said that apart from this, the office also maintains the accounts of 71,446 employees in respect of 27,057 accounts of House Building Advance, 21,017 of Marriage Loan, 12,031 of Motor Car Advance and 11,341 of Computer Advance.
