Annual day Celebrated at Ashmah International School with enthusiasm

MOHALI: The environs of the school wore a festive look with twinkling lights and a riot of balloons as students of Ashmah Internaitnal school enthralled the audience with their endearing and enthusiastic performance in a spectacular show. Deputy Commissioner, Mohali Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu was the chief guest at this occasion. The cultural bonanza started with vandana extended to the dignitaries followed by lamp lightning on Shloka Uccharan and Gayatri Mantras.

Students of the school created a beautiful ambience through their performance. Students astonished the audience with their smart and synchronized movement in western dance. The cock dance by students made the audience burst with laughter. Theme based dance stole the show especially depicting the love for their country. Students gave another laudable performance through an English play aesthetically depicting that “A family with an old person has a living treasure of gold.” A dazzling visual treat was presented by the young gabrus and mutiyara through Punjabi Bhangra,
While speaking at this occasion chief Guest Shidu stressed that such functions holds the emotional values, thus put a mark in child’s memory and help him to bond with the things. such activities create competitiveness and which makes a child turned to be a final achiever in his life.

Chairman of the school, Mr. J.S. Kesar, I.A.S(Rtd) While welcoming the gathering & chief guest impressed upon the parents to give time to the children and to be in touch with the faculty for the overall welfare of the students. At last the audience had an opportunity to watch the video show ‘Life at Ashmah’ Depicting working of school. The day culminated with the National Anthem by the students infusing the true spirit of patriotism in everyone.
