BSF shot dead Pak intruder

AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead Pakistani intruder (aged around 30) at Indo-Pak Border Post Kakar when the Pakistani national crossed over to Indian territory and refused to surrender.

In late evening here today, in an official release, BSF official confirmed the killing of Pakistani national said that on Jan 12 around 1955 hours, BSF troops observed some suspicious moments at Indo-Pak border.  When troops reached on the spot, a Pakistani intruder was noticed there who was asked to surrender, but Pakistani declined and kept on marching with aggressive posture towards BSF. To stop further any misadventure, BSF troops opened fire  on intruder in self defence resulting Pakistani succumbed to bullet injuries.

BSF official said that after the incident, Pakistani Rangers were contacted and dead body was handed over to them.
