Teachers day celebrated with Zeal, enthusiasm

BATALA: Teachers day was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm in Gems Cambridge International School here today. Mr. Rajinder Singh Sangha, chairman was the chief guest and Mrs. Manjit Sangha presided over while Principal Imtazul Hussain was the special guest of the function. The function was started with giving tributes to Dr. Savrpalli Radhakrishnan . The day had an emotional and recreation touch. The students did all the preparation with complete energy and excitement as they presented songs, poems, short Act and declamation on the life of Dr. Radhakrishnan.

Geetanjali, Ruby Sanan and Megha were honoured by the school management committee for their commitment and dedication to the cause of education. The students gave the greeting cards prepared by them to their teachers.

Mrs Manjit Sangha put more emphasis on moral and ethical values, which she expected the students to follow. She also wanted the teachers to be role model for the children.
Principal Imtazul Hussain spoke on the works and contribution of Dr Radha Krishnan, the former president of India, the great architect of the society and a modal teacher of the nation. He lauded the contribution made by the teachers of the school and for their devotion to the cause of education.
