Arkansas varsity team of experts visited RBU

MOHALI:  A team of experts from Arkansas State University (A-State) visited RBU to interact with the students under the  pack signed  with Arkansas  State University (A-State), USA with RBU earlier. The University School of Engineering and Technology (USET) has pioneered significant changes to make education more pragmatic and holistic to earn its excellent reputation.

Courtney Sears, International Recruiter and Partnership Specialist at Arkansas State University, Rajan, North India Representative of A-State, and Devyani Khare, General Manager of South Asia office as A-State, who came to the campus, were formally welcomed by Dr Ajay Goyal, Dean of the University School of Engineering and Technology. He emphasized the role of collaboration with different universities which provides a broad canvas for the students to realize and paint their dreams.

Courtney Sears enlightened the students about various courses in the field of Engineering (Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics) and Business Studies in Undergraduate and Postgraduate offered by A-State.

After her address Rajan interacted with the students and answered their queries regarding various courses. Then Devyani Khare shared how going beyond India and exploring other countries could be beneficial for the students.

Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, emphasized that in the era of globalization one cannot remain aloof and should explore new horizons.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group and Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University, emphasized the importance of globalization in education.

Dr SK Mittal, Dean of Research and Development, Rayat Bahra University, proposed a vote of thanks.
