CHANDIGARH: Punjab Medical Education and Research Minister Mr. Om Prakash Soni on Monday expressed grief over the death of Dr. Ankit, a student of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, relatives and friends, the Minister prayed to the Almighty to give them courage to bear this huge loss and to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Dr. Ankit succumed to corona infection during COVID patients. Dr. Ankit has passed MBBS from Patiala Medical College and at present, he was doing M.D. in Surgery from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot.
Dr. Avnish Kumar, Director, Department of Medical Education and Research, Punjab, Dr. Akashdeep Aggarwal and Civil Surgeon Patiala attended the funeral of Dr. Ankit on the behalf of Punjab Government.
