Rayat Bahra pact to start Beauty and wellness courses

: Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council (BWSSC) for starting diploma and degree level beauty and wellness vocational courses in affiliation with the Punjab Technical University (PTU).

The visiting Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (BWSSC) team was accorded a warm and affectionate welcome on their arrival.

Dr Suresh Seth, Campus Director Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus, expressed his gratitude to the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council for signing MoU with Ropar Campus. He said the Beauty & Wellness sector was no longer a domain in which only females showed the interest whereas these days males were also keen to update themselves about the latest products and fitness methods.

“The escalating demand of youth towards this sector has today brought this opportunity for us that we are connecting ties with the eminent and top-notch segment of Beauty sector-the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council”, said Dr Suresh Seth.

Annu Wadhwa, Chief Executive Officer of the BWSSC, said that the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (BWSSC) gives an opportunity to all to upgrade their knowledge in the domains of beauty and fitness. This is special benefit for those who wish to learn while earning as Bachelor of Vocation is a multi-entry and multi-exit option at three levels - diploma, advance diploma and degree. The students can learn the art of maintaining oneself and earn his/her livelihood.

Nirmal Singh Rayat, President of the Rayat-Bahra Group and Gurvinder Singh Bahra,Chairman of the Rayat-Bahra Group, appreciated the efforts of the Ropar Campus for signing MoU with Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council and said that the Rayat-Bahra Group would leave no stone unturned in helping the society to bridge the ever-increasing gap between industry and academia.
