Rayat Bahra Group fast expanding wings

MOHALI: The Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions is fast expanding its wings and has a series of prestige projects coming up which would be inaugurated in the coming year. These include a multi-specialty hospital, state-of-the-art fully air conditioned ultramodern auditorium, schools (CBSE), sports complex and a food court.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions, told media persons here today that the Group has drawn up ambitious plans to revamp infrastructure and provide more amenities to the students. Work on these projects had already been started and was expected to be completed in the coming year.

The lush green sprawling campus of the Rayat Bahra University provides a vibrant campus life offering ultra modern infrastructure to its students like a huge 24-hour central library, computer labs, international level sports and recreational facilities, air-conditioned hostels, quality food prepared under strict hygienic conditions, Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus and round the clock security and CCTV cameras making the campus safe and secure.   

He said there was a flurry of development works underway at the Rayat Bahra University campus. A state-of-the-art fully air conditioned ultramodern auditorium with 1200 seat capacity is fast nearing completion. Also coming up is a Food Court which is expected to become a favourite haunt of the students.

Bahra said that a Sports Complex was fast coming up on the Rayat Bahra University campus which would provide facilities for different games under one roof. It would have all the ultra modern facilities and sporting equipment.

He said that the endeavour of the university was to provide best amenities to its students who come not only from different parts of the country but also from abroad. The Group has witnessed phenomenal development and focuses on the comprehensive development of its students. It has engaged outstanding faculty, which helps the students hone their skills and the group boasts of its imparting holistic and high quality education.

Rayat Bahra students being equipped with industry relevant skills, there has been an upswing in placements and with more than 375 companies have visited different institutions of the Group. These include 183 in engineering and technology, 95 in management and computers, 35 in hotel management, 46 in pharmaceutical science and health sciences, and 20 in law and education. Students have been offered very attractive and lucrative pay packages.
