Government senior secondary School Shahpur pur Goraya was situated on the Indo Pak International border where a total of 16 students were appeared in the plus two examination held in March last and 12 of them were failed and remaining 4 students got compartments

This border school was upgraded to plus two from Matric in 2001 but the school was facing acute scarcity of teachers as the government had sanctioned 8 teachers but only an officiating Principal was deployed there and remaining teachers were posted to other school on deputation basis.
