KCA's Physiotherapy Dept Gets IAP Approval

AMRITSAR: The Department of Physiotherapy at Khalsa College has been conferred upon an award membership by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Indore. The IAP is the national level regulatory body in the profession of Physiotherapy and with the approval and membership the students can now directly practice after completing t he degree program.

Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina congratulated Principal Dr. Mehal Singh and HoD Dr. Davinder Kaur Dhillon saying the earlier also the department had the membership of the IAP which had further been extended for five years. He said the students of the 2018 -22 batch will be benefited immensely as they will now get the membership of IAP individually without appearing in the IAP examination.

Dr. Mehal Singh thanked the management for the constant support and leadership under which the department and college has been continuously striving towards emerging as the leading center of excellence and is presently equipped with advanced equipment and latest techniques related to Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics and Neurological conditions.

Dr. Davinder Kaur Dhillon, HOD informed that the inspection team from IAP had earlier conducted an intensive verification following which the approval was granted.
