Indian Under Secretary MEA Vidisha Maitra visits Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS: Indiana-India Business Council, India Association of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Hyderabad Sister City Committee, International Marketplace Coalition and The International Center today jointly hosted a dinner in honor of Ms. Vidisha Maitra, Under Secretary (Policy, Planning, & Research), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi at the International Marketplace Coalitition office at 3919, Lafayette Road, Indianapolis, here.
While working in Indian Missions in Paris and Poet Louis, Vidisha handled political assignments, press and media relations and consular affairs.
Described it as a wonderful event, Indiana-India Business Council president Raju Chinthala thanked Bharat Patel, Mary Clark, Peter Kirkwood, Bharath Gali, Chandrashekhar Krishnamaneni, Jordan Israel, Diego Morales, Vop Osili, Geetha Nair, Sabina, S. Santana, Abhinav Singh, Vasanth Moghali, Prashanth Kalyani, Manzil Kohli, Weilin Long, Vikas Aurora, Bhavna Aurora, Shikha Kumar, Pastor Henzy Green, Jeb Bardon, Laxman Dobbala, Venkata Nagesh Tadikonda, Marife Cabaluna Callender and Suhel Anwar for attending the reception and dinner.
Sabina, S. Santana wrote on FB "What a joyful evening! Got a chance to meet the Minister of Planning and other new friends from India.They are very warm and loving people. I am thankful to Mary Clark and Raju for inviting me. When you meet good people you add 72 hours to your life. Lots of laughter and education too. I am going to India to visit now that I have friends to get me from the airport. Happy, happy."
