Two Panjab University student leaders arrested for helping Punjab gangsters

CHANDIGARH: Two Panjab University Chandigarh students have  been arrested by Organised Crime Control unit of Punjab Police from Rajpura in Patiala for allegedly supplying drugs and arms to Punjab gangsters who fled from Nabha jail.

The accused have been identified as Harman Virk former President if Gandhi Group Students Union and Armaan Cheema state head of the Union. They actively aprticipated in recently held Panjab University student union elections. They were found aiding with Nabha jail break accused gangsters Neeta Deol and Gurpreet Sekhin, now in jail.

Police have also recovered two passports from their possession in the name of Kulwinder Singh and Jasdeep Kaur. The accused were under influence of heronin when arrested from a dhaba. The Police was following their activities after a tip off. They were receiving money from Hong Kong to arrange drugs and arms.
