PHAGWARA: Rawalpindi police have arrested two drugs peddlers and recovered 2.4 kg of poppy husks from them under Section 15-61-85 NDPS Act. Disclosing this here today Gurjeet Kaur in-charge of Panshta police post said that when the police party stopped two youths on a scooter during the check, 2 kg 400 gms of poppy seeds were recovered from them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Sukhwinder Singh alias Goni residents of Maksuspur, Jaswinder Singh alias Binda of Khushalpur.She said that 1 kg 400 grams was recovered from Sukhwinder and 1 kg puppy husks was recovered from Jaswinder.
