Punjab Vigilance registers case against two PSPCL J.Es for taking bribe

CHANDIGARH: Vigilance Bureau Punjab today registered a case against two Junior Engineers of PSPCL Mansa for demanding and accepting a bribe.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that the VB has registered a case against Baljinder Singh and Tarwinder Singh both Junior Engineers (JE) posted at PSPCL subdivision Jhuneer, Mansa on the complaint of Jagraj Singh resident of Jhuneer, Mansa District.
The complainant has approached the VB and alleged that the above said JEs have demanded and accepted bribes for installing power connection for his new tube-well.
After verifying the complaint a case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against both the accused at VB police station Bathinda and further investigation is in progress.
