NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have booked a mother daughter duo on the charges of criminal trespass and committing crime with common intention.
The investigating officer (IO) Surjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Pritam Kaur a resident of Mohalla Bhaghiarr Pura and her daughter Sarabjit Kaur .
Deepak Kumar a resident of post office road complained to the police that the accused forcibly encroached upon his ancestral plot.
IO said that a case under sections 447(criminal trespass) 511(punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment.) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
