Punjab and Haryana High Court condoles death of Justice H.N.Seth

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today convened a Full Court Reference to condole the sad demise of noted jurist and legal luminary Mr. Justice H.N. Seth, former Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court and former Judge of Allahabad High Court. All the judges of High Court took part in this full court reference.

While sharing the grief with the family of late Mr. Justice H.N. Seth, the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Mr. Justice Shiavax Jal Vazifdar said that Mr. Seth was a symbol of simplicity, dedication and commitment and was also known for his high professional caliber. He described the sad demise of Mr. Seth as a huge loss to the legal fraternity as he was a great source of inspiration for the young professionals of the legal field. Chief Justice further said that the legal fraternity has lost a great human being and legal luminary, who would also be remembered for his legal acumen, sagacity, courtesy and firmness.

The other dignitaries, who paid tributes to the departed soul included Mr. Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India, Mr. Atul Nanda, Advocate General, Punjab, Mr. Baldev Raj Mahajan, Advocate General, Haryana, Ms. Puneeta Sethi, Vice President, Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association and Mr. Karanjit Singh,Vice Chairman,   Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.

The retired judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court and members of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana and Bar Association of High Court were also present in condolence meeting.
