Press Club demands action against persons who threaten journalists

CHANDIGARH: The governing body of the Chandigarh Press Club has condemned misbehaviour with journalists by Jat protesters at Jasia village in Rohtak today.

The Chandigarh Press Club has urged the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to take action against the people, who threatened the journalists and ensure safety of the journalists in Haryana.

Press Club President Jaswant Rana and Secretary General Barinder Singh Rawat said a delegation of Chandigarh Press Club will shortly also meet with Haryana CM in this regard.

AGM POSTPONED: The Annual General body Meeting (AGM) of Chandigarh Press Club has been changed from February 26 to March 5. The AGM has been postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances.

2The following will be the agenda: a) Welcome address by the President; b) Confirmation of the minutes of last meeting; c) Annual report of the Secretary General; d) Presentation of accounts by the Treasurer; e) Fixation of Annual Election date and f) Appointment of Returning Officer.
