Mohali based Paramount Immigration Company booked for fraud, intimidation

MOHALI: Punjab Police has booked four employees of Mohali Phase 7 based Paramount Immigration Company on chargers of fraud and intimidation on the complaint of Manjit Singh of Faridkot who paid Rs.5 lakhs to the company to send his son abroad.

rManjit Singh in his complaint to police said that he contacted Paramount Immigration company to send his son abroad. The company owner demanded Rs.five lakhs shich he paid to him. The complanant said that he was lured by advertisements by Paramount Immigraion Cosmapny in newspapers and TV channels. The company failed to send his son abroad and also refused to refund the money.

Manjit Singh said that when he visited the company office in Phase 7 to demand his money back, the two employees Kulwinder Singh pulled out his revolver and threatened him to kill if demanded money back. Manjit Singh came back and reported the matter to Matour Police station. Police has registered a case against four employees of Paramount Imiigration Company namely Kulwinder Singh, Nisha, Manjinder Singh and Avtar Singh alias Sonu. Before police raided the company office, the staff locked the office and absconded.

Police said that case was registered after an inquiry was conducted by SP Detective. Manjit Singh had provided mobile numbers of all the employees who talked to him and also account numbers in which he had deposited money.. Police said that no arrest was made since all the employees of company are absconding and office is locked.
