Digital Media Association condemn Police misbehavior with Chandigarh Journalist

CHANDIGARH: The Digital Media Association Punjab today strongly condemn misbehavior by a police official with Chandigarh based journalist Devinderpal.

The Association demanded an inquiry into the incident of forcibly taking journalist to police station while he was walking down to his office in Sector 29.

The Association members Chief Patron Baljit Balli, Chairman Satinder Bains, President Devinderjit Singh Darshi Senior Vice President Mahavir Jain, Vice President H.S.Bawa, General Secretary Devinder Singh Kohli and Office Secretary Parminder Singh Jattpuri demanded strict action agaisnt the guilty SHO and appealed to SSP Chandigarh to issue instructions to police not to stop media persons from performing their duties. Journalists are also working with great risk to their lives as the Police is doing.

The Association has also condemn incident of snatching money from another journalist Gurupdesh Bhullar by robbers while he was returning home from Chandigarh and demanded immediate arrest of culprits.
