BJP heading towards clean sweep in Chandigarh municipal corporation polls

CHANDIGARGH : The Bharatiya Janata Party is heading towards absolute majority in the Chandigarh municipal corporation elections going by the results declared so far.

There are a total of 26 wards.

Maheshinder Singh Sidhu (BJP) has won from ward No 1 by 324 votes.

Asha Jaiswal (BJP) wins by 1700 votes in ward No 17.

Davinder Singh Babla (Congress) wins from ward number 18.

Anil Dubey from BJP won in Ward number 24 defeating Narsullah Khan of Congress.
