Rayat-Bahra,engg students excel in PTU exams

PATIALA: Students of the Rayat-Bahra Patiala Campus have once again won laurels in the Punjab Technical University bringing glory to the Rayat-Bahra Group in the educational world.
Engineering Final Year students namely Ishtiaq Mohd (Civil 96.13 per cent), Rajatveer Kotwal (Civil 96.13 per cent), Gagandeep Singh (Mechanical engineering with 94.13 per cent), Gurmeet Singh (Mechanical engineering with 94.13 per cent marks), Dilpreet Singh (CSE with 92.90 per cent), Nikhil Garg (CSE with 91.70 per cent), secured first positions in their respective courses of Engineering in the final examinations of PTU held in April, 2017. A total of 114 students passed their examination with more than 85 per cent marks in their respective branches.
Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions Gurvinder Singh Bahra congratulated the students, their parents and the faculty and said that they had reaped the harvest of hard work, sincerity and regularity towards their focused and targeted study courses. He said hard work always gets awards and hope is the elixir of life. He asked the students to have confidence and continue to work hard.
Director Dr Piush Verma also congratulated the meritorious students and encouraged them to remain focused. He said students’ regularity, sincerity and punctuality were the basic ingredients of their success and achievements. He said that for success it is necessary that we know our aim.
He said the students have to choose a career and profession of their liking and interest. He advised them to concentrate on their aims and use their energy and potential accordingly. He said fortune favours the brave and bravery is in continuous work, perseverance, patience and oneness of purpose. He congratulated their parents and also wished them good luck for their future endeavors
