PU to organize International conference on Green Chemistry

CHANDIGARH : Panjab University Chandigarh is organizing an International Conference on Green Chemistry, Engineering and Technology (GCET) for Sustainable development in collaboration with Florida Polytechnic University (FPU)-USA on April 20 to 22. The conference is being organized under the aegis of University Grants Commission (UGC) Government of India and from the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF). This conference aims to foster knowledge, research breakthroughs, international collaborations and educating 21st century learners in advanced fields of Green Chemistry, Engineering and Technologies for sustainable development. There will be scientific and technical sessions by distinguished scientists, engineers and industrialists from India and abroad to address global challenges in the field of GCET. GCET-2017 conference will begin by an inaugural function with the presence of. K. K. Paul, Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand as a Chief Guest and Professor Arun K. Grover, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, India and Professor Randy K. Avent, President of Florida Polytechnic University, USA. Eminent Scientists and researchers will be delivering their plenary, keynote, invited lectures and oral presentations at the technical sessions. Eminent Scientists from India and abroad will share recent development and future research of various topics like: New and Emerging Developments in Solar Energy, Alternative Fuel Applications, Design of nanostructures for energy and environmental applications etc. GCET-2017 conference will also feature a panel discussion session involving industry leaders and eminent scientists as subject experts to discuss and provide expertise solutions for the futuristic and collaborative graduate curriculum development in GCET to prepare innovative problem solvers and high tech professionals for key Global Challenges.
