Paryatan Parv Celebrated with Nukkad Natak by Dr.Ambedkar Institute of HM Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH:  Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Technology, Sector-42D one of the leading institutes of Hotel Management providing various courses for hospitality education, is celebrating Paryatan Parv from 5th to 25th October, 2017.

As a part of this celebration, the students of the institute performed a NUKKAD NATAK on “Desh Ko Swacch Rakho, Aage Badho, Paryatan Ko Shikhar Pe Pohchao” in Sector-17 Plaza, Chandigarh, one of the most popular attractions in the city.

The group of students performed a street act promoting tourism in the city and highlighting the potential which can be unleashed for promoting tourism in the region. It further showcased the importance of keeping the country clean to attract more domestic and foreign tourists. It also threw light on the increasing incidents of eve-teasing. At the end, the students took a collective pledge to not damage public property and to abide by the tagline ‘Atithi Devo Bhava.’ They also vowed to further promote this notion.

The play garnered the interest of the public in and around the Sector-17 plaza. All the students were commended for their incredible acting and well-thought out act.

“It is truly remarkable to see today’s generation indulge themselves in

raising awareness regarding tourism issues that affect the country as a whole. Tourism plays a very important role in the development of the country and its image worldwide and hence, we must all help to ensure the growth of this industry,” commented one of the bystanders.
