JALANDHAR : Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has continued to excel in the field of academics, cultural and sporting arenas. The latest laurel was earned in the field of cultural activities when Mansa Singh, a talented Tabla artist student of the college bagged 2nd spot among 88 participated in the 141th Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan held at Jalandhar.
The organizers of the event duly rewarded the student with a cash prize of Rs 2100. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra appreciated the student for bringing laurels for himself as well as the college. He also reiterated the fact that student like Mansa Singh have also performed brilliantly at University levels and various other youth programmes. Dr. G.S. Samra also encouraged the Music department of the college to continue such efforts. On this occasion, Dean EMA Prof. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Prof. Sukhdev Singh HOD Music, Prof. Pavittar Singh and Prof. Daljit Singh were also present along with students of the college.
