Apeejay College of Fine Arts organize 3-day Workshop and Symposium Turkish Artists perform

JALANDHAR: Apeejay College of Fine Arts organized 3-day Workshop and Symposium in which renowned artists from Turkey and India exhibited their finesse. Addressing the occasion, Principal Dr Sucharita remarked that College always tries to ensure international level exposure to students of design, fine arts and applied arts.

Further, she highlighted the key role such cross-cultural Art Symposia do play in deepening the cultural bonds of the participating nations. Turkish artists will know the Indian art finesse while Indian students and teachers can get a peep into the Turkish artistic expressions. The Art Symposium comprises total of 15 artists of whom 11 are Turkish and 4 Indian. On Day 1, Dr. Orhan Cebrailoglu performed action painting which means to paint while dancing on music and lyrics; he made it on Punjabi dhol-beat.

11 Turkish art Maestros will enlighten the budding Apeejayites foraying in the field of fine arts. College Principal Dr Sucharita paid her gratitude to  Madan Lal, senior artist at Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi and Anil Gupta, Associate Professor in Applied Art at Apeejay College of Fine Arts for this praiseworthy venture.
