TCEI event excellence awards -2015 presentation held

HYDERABAD : An year old Telangana Chamber of Events Industry(TCEI), a not for profit professional trade body, which is an umbrella organization of Event Management, Wedding Planners, Entertainers, Exhibitions, Sound /Light/Video, Production, Venues, Caterers and other facilitators organized a gala industry event—“TECI Event Excellence Awards 2015” here in city at Hitex on Tuesday night.

Termed as the event of the events industry by the events industry for the events industry, it got a overwhelming response from their industry colleagues with over 600 gracing the awards night.

Welcoming the gathering President Surat Singh Malhotra said we event industry are one. Every participant in thisawards is a winner. Participation itself is a confidence you have exhibited. Participation is more important than winning. We all have come in into event industry to make our dreams a reality. You must work hard to achieve them, he said. Be a humble event managed he told his fellow event managers.

The winners of Life Time Achievement Awards include Dr. B.V.Pattabhiram, Renowned Magician & Motivational Speaker; Shiva Kumar Vemuri, Sujatha Sound; Late Manikanth Momaya, Gaurav Caterers(Posthmously); Mohammed Abdul Muneem, Mumtaz and Company and Rajeev Reddy, Country Club India Limited

The Winners of 12 Jade Awards which were nominated by the awards committee for professionals excellence were bagged by Chokkapu Venkata Ramana, 'Magic Chaplin Mr.Cho'; R. K. Dhar of Dhar Decorators; D. Ramchandram of Solus Media; A.L.Anand Rao of ALKR Marketing; Dinaz Noria of 3 D; Abhijit Bhattacharjee of Grandslaam Network; Kiran Chandan Lalwani of Liberty Exclusive Outdoor Caterers; Zakir Alladin of Mowzz Entertainment; Syed Layaq Ali of Taher Sound; Dr.D.S.Deendayal, of Alankrita Resorts & SPA; Imran Khan, Fashion Choreographer

The Kohinoor Award which was presented to the outside event management company which organized events in Hyderabad was bagged by Priti Khanna, Chairperson of MCI India for COP XI and Metropolis Events held last year in the city.

Social Initiatives like The August Fest, Raahgiri Day, Hydourite, Hyderabad Literary Fest were also among the winners of Awards for Happening Hyderabad Events. Special recognition was given to Hyderabad Children Theatre Festival

The Pearls of Hyderabad Awards were presented to the events and allied industries. Some of the winners of these awards include: Event of the Year Award, Event Manager Social Event, Birth Day Event Organizer and Wedding Planner, Event for Social Cause all these five awards went to Sarna Kreations; CSR Activity of the Year went to Hitex Exhibition Center; Group Events of the Year Award to Red Entertainers; Event Service Online to Mera Events; Professional Conference Organisers to Page 3 Events; DJ Male to Piyush Bajaj; Master of Ceremonies to Rahul Anand, Event Manager Corporate to Impulse India, Entertainer of the Year Award to Samala Venu; Education for Event Management to Rachnoutsav and others.
Events without entertainment are a drab. A Lot of international performers were roped in, many of them were first of its kind in the city. Some of these performances include six Carnival Performers to welcome guests, one stage performance with Carnival Dancers (ending with presenting of the trophy), Crystal Fountain represented Kohinoor Awards; Flute Mermaid as an installation was used to represent Pearl Awards. The princess of the sea, out of her shell stunningly stationed in the shell captivated the audience.

Performer in Venetian Carnival costume represented Jade Awards. Carnival Dancers, which we normally witness in international carnivals thrilled the crowds with their acts. They also performed an exotic dance number before the presentation of the Kohinoor Award. Live Human Fountain Water Girl Statue Act which is being witnessed at Royal weddings and high profile corporate events was another act took the participants by surprise.

Sufi Singer Nyvaan stole the show. With his mesmerizing sufi and other numbers took the evening to the new level. Guest danced and sang along with him. It was the best sufi experience to many for the first time besides other popular numbers. Nyvaan who performed at various platforms across the country was flown in from Dubai for the performance.
